Bournemouth Film Festival
A live client brief to brand the first BIFF festival
As Bournemouth welcomed its first ever film festival, myself and a team of designers were tasked with creating the branding and marketing materials that would surround the weekend long event.

Bournemouth Pier Advert
One of the tasks I had was to create a 15 second video to feature on the Bournemouth pier advertising board. I used Adobe Illustrator to design the four film frames that feature in the start of the video and After Effects to animate the sequence. The advert ran throughout the summer of 2025 leading up to the event to promote tickets.
BIFF Programme
For this task, the client was looking for a printed out programme that would be given to every attendee to see the programme of events over the weekend. Working with a teammate, Gianna created the graphic elements, and I laid out the programmes typography and imagery. The two sided leaflet was designed in Adobe Illustrator and shows the films played in each room across both days, alongside the sponsors of the event. It was very rewarding to see so many people use my design during the event.
Layout and Typography
Step and Repeat
Here, the client was looking for a backdrop featuring the events sponsors to be used by attendees and film makers throughout the festival. Made in illustrator I had to recreate logos into a vector file and layout each one based on a hierarchy of their involvement with the event. It was fantastic to see my work be used by so many people, with film producers, actors, and attendees all take pictures in front of my Step and Repeat work across both days of BIFF.

Social Media Advertising
Promoting the event online
Before the event, I created short animations that were used on social media to help promote tickets. I wanted to use motion as something to catch the users attention as opposed to a still image. Using After Effects and Premier Pro I created the animations and sound scape, alongside Illustrator to design the graphic elements.
